Hi, I am Marlize, the heart behind MIGNONEBODY.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I would one day be handcrafting bath and body products or building the MIGNONEBODY brand.
My journey began in the beauty industry as a beautician, make-up artist and manicurist, where I spent years caring for and serving women. But deep down, as an introvert who treasures the simple and meaningful things in life, I longed for something softer. A slower life. More time with my family. Space to create. A life that felt calm, grounded and intentional.
That longing eventually led me to relocate my salon to our family’s dairy farm, where I could blend my love for beauty with the peace of home, motherhood and quiet living. Surrounded by nature and slower days, I began craving more than just products — I began craving rituals. Small moments of comfort in a busy and overwhelming world.
My story truly began with my grandmother, who has always loved natural products and believed in the gentle power of ingredients from the earth. Wanting to surprise her, I created my very first salt scrub and body butter. Seeing her joy lit something inside me.
I started sharing my creations with family and friends — and to my surprise, they loved them too. What began as a small gift of love slowly grew into something much deeper: a brand built around comfort, calm and caring for both body and soul.
Alongside building MIGNONEBODY, I also work in a busy surgical practice, where I see daily how exhausted and overwhelmed life can leave people feeling. That experience deepened my appreciation for rest, softness and the small rituals that help us slow down, breathe deeply and care for ourselves again.
MIGNONEBODY was born from the belief that self-care is about more than skincare. It is about creating space to pause. To soften. To rest. To reconnect with yourself after long days, difficult seasons and the constant demands of life.
For me, these rituals became a way back to myself — and also back to my faith, my creativity and the quiet things that truly matter.
Today, every product is thoughtfully handcrafted with that same intention: to bring warmth, comfort and meaningful moments into everyday life. Whether it is a warm bath at the end of the day, a quiet moment of stillness, or simply taking a breath before the world asks for more from you again, I hope MIGNONEBODY becomes a soft place for you to return to yourself too.

Today, MIGNONEBODY is the result of countless hours of learning, researching, creating and prayerfully building something meaningful from the heart. Every formula is thoughtfully crafted to bring together comforting rituals, skin-loving ingredients and intentional care — blending both nature and modern formulation to create products that feel gentle, nourishing and deeply comforting to use.
But for me, beauty has never only been about skincare. It is also emotional. Spiritual. Personal. It is found in the quiet moments — a warm bath after a difficult day, soft skin after taking time to care for yourself, a deep breath when life feels overwhelming, or simply allowing yourself to rest without guilt.
Working in a demanding medical environment while building MIGNONEBODY has shown me just how deeply women carry the weight of the world on their shoulders. So many women spend their days caring for everyone else while forgetting themselves in the process. That is why this brand was never created to only sell products. It was created to offer comfort, calm and small moments of restoration in everyday life.
Faith has also been a quiet but important part of this journey. Through difficult seasons, growth, uncertainty and long hours, I have seen how God can gently lead us back to ourselves — often through the smallest moments of stillness, creativity and grace.
MIGNONEBODY is more than a collection of products. It is a journey of softness, courage, healing and becoming. A reminder that you are worthy of care too. That you deserve moments of peace. That softness is not weakness.
My hope is that when you use these products, you feel comforted, uplifted and reminded that you matter deeply — not because of how much you do for others, but simply because you are human.

Everything you see here is created by me — from carefully developing each formulation and designing every label, to writing every word, taking every photograph and handcrafting each product from home, in the quiet moments between everyday life.
MIGNONEBODY was never created simply to sell products. Every ritual, formula and fragrance exists because it first became part of my own life — bringing comfort, calm and small moments of care during busy seasons and long days.
These are the products I personally use, believe in and return to myself.
